The Confucius Institute at Assumption University Organized the Chinese New Year Festival
Farewell to the Old Year, Welcoming the New Year — To provide Thai faculty members and students with a closer experience of the Chinese New Year atmosphere and a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, on February 9, the Confucius Institute at Assumption University, together with the Graduate School, Office of International Affairs, Faculty of Arts, and the Student Association, organized the “Thai–Chinese New Year Friendship Celebration” at Suvarnabhumi Campus.

The event featured a variety of interactive activities, including Chinese language quiz archery, scented sachet making, Chinese New Year printmaking, lucky red envelope draws, and zodiac-themed photo spots. Cultural performances showcasing the beauty of Thai–Chinese cultural exchange also added to the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with joy and the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year.

This event provided participants with the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture through hands-on experiences, while strengthening mutual understanding and fostering good relations between Thailand and China. The Confucius Institute will continue organizing cultural activities to serve as a bridge of friendship and cultural exchange between the two countries.
