International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (Confucius Institute Scholarship)

This scholarship program focuses on developing Chinese language teachers in countries around the world, as well as cultivating reserve talent and high-level Chinese language professionals. The scholarship is offered in two categories: degree programs and short-term training programs.

The program supports talented young individuals in pursuing further studies in China through degree studies and short-term training opportunities, while also contributing to the development of an international network of Chinese language teaching professionals.

Degree Program Scholarship (学历类奖学金)

This scholarship is intended for international students with strong Chinese language proficiency, individuals aspiring to become Chinese language teachers, and current Chinese language instructors. It provides support for pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs in China in the field of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) and related disciplines.

Training Program Scholarship (研修类奖学金)

This scholarship is designed for active Chinese language teachers and Chinese language learners from around the world. It provides opportunities to participate in training programs in China with durations of 4 weeks, one semester, or one academic year. The training fields include Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) and other Chinese-related disciplines.
